Charger Tennis

.:: 5A State Champions for Five Consecutive Years ::.

The Oxford High School Tennis Chargers will open the 2012 Spring Season as the 4-time defending state team champion.  Over the past 6 years the Chargers have amassed an over-all record of 126 wins and 1 loss.  Returning to this year's team are individual state champions Robert Nance and Baxter Elliott (#1 Boys Doubles), Will Swindoll and Quinn Elliott (#2 Boys Doubles), Kara Rose and Embrey Inman (#2 Girls Doubles), Andrew Mullen (two-time champion in Boys Doubles and Mixed Doubles), and Ann Marie Edlin (finalist at #1 Girls Singles).

Try-outs for this year's team will be Wednesday , October 12 at 3:30 PM and Saturday, October 15 at 8:00 AM.  This will take place at the Avent Park Tennis Courts just down the street from Oxford High School.
