Fall 2011

The 8th grade football program is in its first year under the direction of Coach Perry Swindall. There are 43 players on the 8th grade team this year. The 8th grade began spring training in April and continued to work throughout the summer, hosting the first ever Middle School Passing Tournament in June, as well as attending football camp as a team in July.

The 8th grade plays each Tuesday at 6:30 following the 7th grade game.

Coach Swindall says of this team,“This is a very talented and hardworking group of young men. If they continue to work in the class room, weight room and practice field they will have a chance to be a very good team one day. So far they have been a lot of fun to coach and get to know. Our parents have been awesome this season with all their support and the players have really dedicated themselves to the team. It has been a blast this year.”
