Cheerleading2011-2012 The Oxford High School cheerleading squads are composed of 20 Varsity members and 12 Junior Varsity members. This summer, both the Varsity and JV squads attended camp at the University of Mississippi where they were both rated superior squads. During the school year, you can find the OHS cheerleaders cheering on the many athletic teams of Oxford High School and participating in the MHSAA cheerleading competitions. The cheerleaders are also charged with raising the spirit of the entire OHS student body by planning a variety of spirit days and pep rallies. The cheerleaders participate in as many community projects as possible. Each year, the squad raises money during the month of October for the Susan G. Comen breast cancer fund.
