Oxford Charger Football

The offseason program for the Charger football team has been filled with a lot of enthusiasm and energy as the Chargers are hungry to make a return trip to the State Championship game for the first time since 2003.  The outlook for 2012 is promising with the Chargers returning 8 starters on offense and 9 on defense.  Coach Johnny Hill is looking to continue the great success he has seen since returning to Oxford in 2001.  Under Coach Hill’s watch, the Chargers have won one North Half Championship, played in the state semifinals twice, won two district titles, and made the playoffs 9 years in a row.  The 2012 Chargers are striving to build on the great foundation laid by teams of the past.
