All full-time employees, certified employees, and teacher assistants will observe the following holidays with no reduction in pay. All classified employees, who work less than full-time, will observe all holidays but be paid for five: (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Day, and Martin Luther King Jr., Day.)

When a holiday falls on Saturday, the preceding Friday will be a holiday. When on Sunday, the following Monday will be a holiday.
