Welcome to Oxford High School for the 2012-2013 school year. We anticipate another outstanding year. The OHS faculty is excited to meet the incoming freshmen class as well as our returning sophomores, juniors and seniors. Oxford High School has always been a dynamic place for learning. There is a long tradition of excellence, which we are dedicated to continuing.

  • Academic Honors Breakfast:  The juniors and Sophomores eligible for the honors breakfast will report to the cafeteria at 8:00 AM. We will call for the students to report. At approximately 8:45 AM we will release the freshmen group. The list of those that are invited to this special occasion has been emailed to teachers.

  • Now Casting: MTV's Food School
    For the first time ever MTV and Doron Ofir Casting are seeking aspiring chefs to fulfill a lifelong dream in the culinary arts that will lead to the job of a lifetime and launch a career of epic proportions.
    We are seeking amateur chefs, bakers and cooking enthusiasts of all kinds (who are at least 18 years old), with the biggest personalities and a fierce appetite for competition, to live under one roof and be schooled in most intensive and practical culinary training, with mentorship by legendary food masters.
    Your fiery passion for cooking will be put to the test and be given the opportunity to experience the delicious taste of success. Casting ends soon! Please email me ASAP! I will send you a flyer! Thank you!

  • All library books are now DUE! Please return them. Remember, that anyone that has an outstanding library book or fee will not be able to qualify for exam exemptions.
  • Notices about exemptions:
    • Please be sure that all fines are paid
    • Library books must also be turned in or late fees paid
    • Exemptions are only determined after administrative approval (upon submittal by teachers)
  • Important Dates to Remember:
    • May 20th: Underclassmen exams begin
    • May 21st: Senior Awards night
    • May 21st: Final senior grades entered
    • May 24th: Graduation practice (9 a.m.)
    • May 24th: Graduation (6:00 p.m.)
  • Support the Oxford Endowment for Public Education (OEPE) with a tax-deductible donation. OEPE provides new library books, science equipment and many other items that our teachers need but do not have the funds to purchase. Donate online or send a check to OEPE at P.O. Box 765, Oxford, MS 38655.
